Carbon Markets Weekly: Verra's New Registry Goes Live as CCP Labels Hit 13% and Article 6.2 Debt Finance Arrives

Verra's next-generation registry went live this morning, replacing a system in use since the early 2000s. Plus: Africa Go Green closes a $10.7M Article 6.2 debt facility for 163,500 BioLite cookstoves in Zambia, CCP-labelled credits reach 13% of new VCS issuances (up from 4% in December 2025), and Agreena's soil carbon program earns a BBB ex-post rating after its first 2.3M credit delivery.
